ImpACTA Kids delivers food rations in Consuelo
SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS (impactakids.org). – The ImpACTA Kids Foundation delivered food rations to more than 100 coaches from different disciplines this Thursday in the Municipality of Consuelo to help combat the current pandemic outbreak period.
In the rations delivered in Consuelo and surrounding areas, they include masks and disinfectant soap and social distancing was kept as indicated by the protocol in these times of Covid-19.
In the previous one, the Foundation had already given rations to its referees, assistants and other employees.
Since the inception of the ImpActa Kids Foundation in 2007, the purpose was to try to impact lives, “through sports and education”, which has been done with Little League Baseball, Baseball, Women’s Softball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognized the global pandemic in the first half of March, immediately including the prevention of hand washing, covering the mouth when coughing, physical distancing between people and the use of masks, as well as self-isolation and follow-up for those suspected of being infected.
Next week the foundation will deliver the rations to Little League baseball in the province of San Pedro de Macoris.
